The United States announced Wednesday the dismantling of a vast community of child pornography, including alleged members were arrested in a dozen countries, including France. 72 participants in this site to "encourage sexual assault of young children" were charged.
The survey, launched in 2009 and dubbed "Operation Delego", led to the arrest of 52 people in 14 countries: USA, Canada, France, Ecuador, Germany, Hungary, Netherlands, Kenya, Philippines, Qatar , Serbia, Sweden, Switzerland and Denmark, said the Ministry of Justice said in a statement.
Among those arrested, thirteen have already pleaded guilty and four of them were sentenced in the United States in terms of up to thirty years in prison. The twenty others involved in the 72 indictments that have not yet been decided at this stage are known only by their online pseudonyms, the ministry said.
