Helen Mirren has the world’s sexiest body

Take a moment and consider your nominee for celebrity "Body of the Year."

We're guessing 66 year-old Dame Helen Mirren is probably not the first name that popped into your head. And yet, according to a recent poll conducted by the L.A. Fitness gym chain awarded the British actress top honors.

Mirren scored ahead of supermodel Elle MacPherson, Jennifer Lopez, and fellow Brit Pippa Middleton. The male side was a bit more predictable, with David Beckham, Daniel Craig, and Johnny Depp locking in the top spots.

The survey was conducted among 2,000 gym members, and Mirren scored 18% of the votes. MacPherson, whose nickname happens to be "The Body," was second with 10%.

Mirren, who recently co-starred with Russell Brand in a remake of the hit comedy "Arthur," is currently filming a biopic of embattled music producer Phil Spector alongside Al Pacino.

Oscar-winner Dame Helen Mirren is the envy of every women being named the hottest body of the year for 2011 according to an online survey poll of 2,000 male and female celeb Body of the Year.
66-year old Mirren who played the Queen in the Oscar winning role beat model Elle MacPherson known as "The Body" by 10.6 percent in an online survey sponsored by L.A. Fitness.
Hot body Mirren recently posed in Esquire magazine draped only in the Union Jack. 
For the men's hottest celebrity category the former Manchester United and England star David Beckham tops the list with  21 per cent of the votes, putting him ahead of Daniel Craig and Johnny Depp in second and third place.

Helen Mirren is a frock and roller

Helen Mirren has a boogie on her way to film a rock and roll movie.

Wearing a bandana and little make-up the veteran Oscar-winner showed off some nimble footwork as she made her way to the New York location for her latest scenes.
She's starring in a controversial biopic of crazed music mogul Phil Spector.
The producer is currently serving life for murdering 40-year-old actress Lana Clarkson.
Godfather star Al Pacino takes the lead role while Helen 66, plays Spector's long-time pal and lawyer Linda Kenney Baden in the film.
Angry protesters called for Helen to pull out of the film because many believe it suggests the former Beatles producer was wrongly jailed.
Bette Midler was originally in line for Helen's role but pulled out, citing a back injury.

Most women only a few days away from their 63rd birthday would be steering well clear of the beach.
And if they did venture there, it would be in the most modest of concealing attire.
Dame Helen Mirren, however, is happy to flaunt her enviable curves and flat stomach in a bikini.

It seems hard to believe that this is the same actress whose portrayal of the Queen won her an Oscar.
Yet this was no retouched studio shot, with the only work to transform her toned body having been carried out during gruelling hours in the gym.
Dame Helen is holidaying in Puglia, on the southern tip of Italy, with her film director husband Taylor Hackford, 63.

Bikini queen: The actress flaunted her enviable curves

She bought a castle in the neighbourhood to celebrate her 2007 Academy Award for Best Actress.
She bought the 500-year-old building and grounds near Lecce for around £680,000 and immediately drew up big plans for the estate with refurbishment work starting last summer.
The property was uninhabitable, with tumbledown walls and a driveway that was little more than a dirt track.

One is cooling off: Helen takes a dip

When the couple first visited the nearby village of Tiggiano to greet locals and - once they heard - civic officials, the welcome was so warm that a baker even made her a cake decorated with a scene from The Queen.
Her new Italian home is surrounded by high fortified walls and has a mature vineyard within its grounds. The Mediterranean can be seen half a mile away.
Dame Helen also owns an enormous home in California and a property by the Thames in Wapping, East London.

I can’t recall ever seeing a woman of 63 wearing a bikini. That doesn’t mean I haven’t seen one, just that I have probably blocked out the memory, but I am sure if they looked as good as Helen Mirren does in these pics, she’d warrant a second glance…


I think I can safely say that she totally fits into the GILF category; I would say GGILF, but I am not sure there even is one of them.
This is the same woman who played the Queen and won her an Oscar. She definitely was not sexy in that role.She is now a Dame and even has her own castle in Italy, so she does have Queenly manners, if not a Queenly figure.
See ladies, it is not hard to look good
