Sega expects the Wii U for spring / summer 2012

Because it is really too loud, Alan Pritchard, vice president of marketing at Sega of America, comes innocently to the buzz about the Wii U speaking of Sonic Next Generations.

Thus, within the interview dedicated to him at Gamespot, the guy was just asked about a possible release of the game on Nintendo's future console. He replied:

The timing does not work. [Sonic] Generations spell during the month of November, and Wii U released in spring / summer.

Subsequently he said that Sega does not do, or at least minimize the portages. If the firm must make a U-Sonic on Wii, it should be specially designed for the machine.

The fact is that these statements are more accurate than Nintendo has officially merely a vague "2012" for the release of the Wii U. For many marketing of the console before the E3 2012 would be the best thing to do to avoid being massacred by the successors of any announcements for the PS3 and the Xbox 360 than Sony and Microsoft could make the lounge. M'enfin everything is guesswork but proponents of the conspiracy theory will not acquiesce.
