Sony has officially unveiled the PSP2 bearing the charming codenamed "NGP" to "Next Generation Mobile". Its characteristics are quite close to those we outlined in our various news that reported the existence of this machine. Note the presence of a couple CPU / GPU much beefier than anything that is currently on smartphones. More than enough to overshadow the iPhone 4. So you will find:
* - CPU: ARM Cortex A9 at 4 hearts
* - Graphics Processor: SGX543MP4 +
* - A 5-inch OLED screen multi-touch (the rear of the console is also tactile)
* - A resolution of 960x544 (very close to that of an iPhone 4 which is 960x640, but the Apple machine has a smaller screen only 3.5 inches)
* - Motion detection with 6-axis gyroscope and accelerometer
* - A Pad
* - Two analog sticks
* - A microphone
* - One port "New Game Media" (flash card reader, cards that will be offered the games available in boxed version)
* - Two cameras (one front and one at the rear of the machine)
* - A compatible Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b / g) + 3G on the top model
* - Bluetooth connectivity
* - An integrated GPS location-based service and wi-fi
* - Dimensions: 182.0 x 18.6 x 83.5mm
Nevertheless be noted that no port UMD is present on the machine: you can not put your PSP games on NIM, except dematerialized PSP games you can download this new console to be released at the end of the year Japan. Alas, no price has been announced yet. And next game what happens?
# To mark the event which saw Sony unveil NPM (provisional name), the manufacturer has introduced a number of games that will accompany this new handheld. The machine should also receive a game Kojima Productions whose title was not specified.
