In addition to the usual features of Windows Live Messenger, you can create your own particular motion pictures from your webcam, dress up your Messenger with your best photos, and even add custom sounds when your contacts log on.
Many other more subtle additions make using this application more instinctive, such as the possibility of changes in the profile of your contacts directly on the homepage.
During setup you can also choose to install Windows Live Essentials applications: Mail, Photo Gallery, Movie Maker, Writer, Toolbar and Parental Controls.
